Vale a partir do próximo scan.

Connections
This is where you connect BeryX to your data sources, always read-only, and decide when each one is analysed. Use this page to add a source, test the connection, discover tables or request a scan.
What you can do
- Create a source with “New connection”: choose the type, fill in the credentials (encrypted before they are stored), click “Save and test” and then “Discover tables”.
- Manage each connection with “Test”, “Discover”, “Scan” and “Delete”; on buckets and document and chat sources, “Documents” analyses PDF, DOCX, TXT, MD and HTML files for use in RAG.
- Schedule automatic analysis under “Schedule”: manual, daily, weekly or monthly, with the hour in your time zone (chosen under “Account security”).
- Turn the automatic monitors (freshness, volume and schema) on or off for each connection, and connect an external catalog to publish scan results or import domains, owners, tags and descriptions.
- Set the “DBA settings” on databases and warehouses: blackout windows, concurrent queries, maximum sampling and the log of executed queries (only admins change the policy).
- Under “Data time zone” → “Change”, enter the time zone in which the source wrote dates stored without a time zone (common in ERPs, in Lisbon or Madrid time). Freshness, rules and the SLO convert those dates to UTC from the next scan. Without it, UTC is assumed.
- Under “Data country” → “Change”, set the country the source's data is about (not where it is stored). With Portugal, a 9-digit phone number without a calling code and an NNNN-NNN postal code are read as Portuguese; with another country, they are not. Without its own country, the connection inherits the workspace's (in Team & Access), which is Portugal by default. Applies from the next scan.
- On Databricks and Snowflake connections, open the “Engineering scan” → “Open”: BeryX reads, read-only, the notebooks, jobs, pipelines, ML models and the DDL of views, tasks and streams, and opens one issue per risky practice (credentials in code,
SELECT *, jobs without retries, a timeout or an alert, notebooks without a job, suspended tasks, warehouses without auto-suspend…). Admins turn it on and off; admins and members click “Request scan”, with an optional AI summary that carries only the findings' metadata. “See the engineering findings in Issues” opens the list already filtered. - On BigQuery, set the “Cost caps” when you create the connection: the cap per query (BigQuery refuses the query without billing it), the cap per table and scan, and the partition window. Above the cap the profile is degraded, and a date-partitioned table is profiled only on the partitions of the last few days. Left empty, the installation values apply.
- Try it without your own data: “Public sample sources” connect in one click and, while you have no connections, “Explore with sample data” creates a demo environment.
